Singularity App: Guide to Space

Singularity App: A guide to the universe for you.The universe is too vast, but with the right tools, you can feel the celestial body more familiar. One of these tools was designed to optimize observations using the Vespera telescope.Singularity appis. This blog introduces the main features of Singularity and turns your astronomical observation into a journey to space.

See the tutorial of the Singularity app on YouTube

Space center setup
When you start Singularity for the first time and create an account, the space center is displayed. Here, you will first select an "observation site". You can register multiple observation sites and check each meteorological conditions and forecast. To create a new observation site, tap the "+" icon to select "Add a new observation site" to determine the location and name of the observation site.

"This machine" widget and "image format" widget
This machine widget allows you to check the connection status of smartphones, tablets and observations. Information on the temperature, humidity, and the attached filter is also provided.
In the "Image Format" widget, you can select a file format that automatically saves it to the built -in memory of Vespera during observation.

Explore the celestial body
Once the observation site is set, make the initial setting and select the observation astronomical body.In the Singularity app, the Explorer function, also called the catalog, can be selected from hundreds of celestial bodies. It is also possible to narrow down by the type of celestial body, such as "nebula", or listen to the celestial body in the high space with sort options.
If you cannot find the celestial body you want to observe, you can manually enter the coordinates of the celestial body. This feature allows you to observe all objects, including astronomical objects that are not listed in the app.

Observation and image stacking
During the observation, the observation result is displayed on the screen. In Vespera, in the initial settings, images are photographed in 10 seconds of exposure time, and images are synthesized using a method called stacking. It is a method to gradually increase the image quality by layering multiple pieces of the same subject.

Save and share observed images
Singularity has some ways to save and share observation results.SingularityIt can be stored on galleries, tablets and smartphones, or share with friends and family using standard shared functions. According to the options set on this "machine" screen, the observation image is automatically saved in the internal memory of Vespera.

Observation plan and profile management
If you set an overnight observation plan with the "Observation Plan" function, Vespera automatically performs observations according to the plan. The profile section allows you to access your Singularity Gallery, Account and Application settings. In the gallery, images stored from the observation section to Singularity are stored on the cloud and linked to the account.

summary
With Singularity, the universe is as in your fingertips.Whether you are an experienced astronomer or a curious beginner, this app has a user -friendly interface and abundant function, so that your starry sky observation experience is really in the world. Set an observation site, select a celestial body, and go on a unique space journey.
